Oral Fluid Drug Test costs and appointments

Test Costs

There are a number of different factors that influence the cost of the Oral Fluid Laboratory Screen & Confirmation Test, these include:

  • Whether you book an appointment at a clinic or opt for the mobile collection service
  • The number of donors that you wish to be tested at one appointment

*The cost of one individual booking an Oral Fluid Test is from £145 + VAT.

*Depending on the factors listed above, the cost of commercial testing for multiple employees can be as little as £40 + VAT per person.

*Additional charges may apply for confirmation testing if required.

If addition, a medical review can be undertaken on positive test results to confirm that declared medication is in line with therapeutic use. This would incur an additional cost of £90+ VAT per person.

Optional alcohol testing can be performed in conjunction with Oral Fluid Testing at no additional cost using Breath Analysis. All Crystal Health Breath Alcohol Testing is performed using Home Office approved breathalysers.

If you are a commercial organisation and considering implementing a random drug testing programme or require pre-employment drug testing, please call 0800 988 7107 to speak to a Clinical Advisor who will outline the options available to you.

These will include the option of utilising a clinic for off-site tests, or a sample collection officer attending your premises to perform on-site testing. Alternatively, request a commercial drug and alcohol testing quote.

Each Test Donor is legally identified at the appointment, Oral Fluid samples are then collected, sealed and bar coded to strict Chain of Custody Protocols. Samples are then processed to our UKAS 17025 and ILAC accredited laboratory, where the test is performed.

Private individuals can also book this test and attend a clinic or request that a mobile collection officer attend their location (if suitable).

Our Clinical Advisors will guide you through the entire booking, appointment and testing process and will answer any technical questions you may have.
